Hi to all my web-friends! You may not know me personally, so I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself: I'm a divorced Mom of a beautiful 9-year old. I am a professional designer near Atlanta, GA.

My Lousy unexpectedly walked out on us in early 2008, and we were finally divorced in the Fall of 2009. During our separation, I came up with the name Lousy Spouse, as my Lousy has proved himself to be over and over again, despite his efforts to be a good father. I called Ellen, as I knew that her Lousy was even more lousy than mine. We had similar experiences, and we agreed that there was nowhere for women (or men) in our situations to go for information or support. We both found that the hardest thing to do was get beyond the shock and get a grip on our lives. We all lose our grip sometimes, and we wanted to create something for others to grab.

The more people who we shared our stories with, the more stories we heard from others. We are horrified that so many families are shattered this way. I don't profess to have all the answers, but I will do my best to give you the best advice I have based on my experience and the stories I've heard from others.
