One year ago on valentines day I started a scrap book of my relationship with my husband (officially ex on FEb 2nd now). documenting the years we've had together. He knew about it as I showed it to him as I went along. I had no idea then that he was the great pretender and it was all a lie. I created a box to put all of the wedding stuff and such in from around the house. I put a big sign on it "box of lies and broken promises". he saw it in the garage. Some day when my kids can read I will have to remove the label. for now it stands as it is - all the memories of our life together marked appropriately. 14 years...now marred by how he truely is. So sad. so many other ways this could have been handled. It is appropirate on this day to mark this occassion. I feel nothing for him. I heart breaks for my children who miss him everyday. Happy valentines day. I made myself dinner and had a glass of wine. I love my children and it is for them I will move on.

Rock on Yvonne....thank goodness you have your children....so many are not blessed like we are with children. Nobody has it all, and it simply our time to pay the piper. Our situations are very similar. You don't get a vote on Lousy...just Yvonne and your little ones. You are in control. You are the boss. Your conscience is clean. Now, it is time to show Lousy and the world how great you are. You are still here. You have not been beaten. Look how strong and resiliant you are! And your children...how blessed! Keep your heart full of joy, and try not to think about ding dong. Think about YOU. You are doing great!!
